Do you run a local business? Are you a business with a physical presence?

How do you get your customers to ”Like” your Facebook Fan page after the sale?  Have you ever asked a customer to “Like” your page and more times than not, they have forgotten?

Here is a strategy for increasing the “Like” conversion rate.

Almost everyone today has a Facebook page.  And this is great news for marketers; however, its useless unless we  as internet marketers use it to our advantage.

So how do we use it to our advantage???

Instead of asking your customers when the leave the sale (in which they have a million other things on their mind) to log on to their Facebook page, (in which they are more excited to see if they have a friend request or a comment on a recent post) to search for your page and “Like” you is tough.  It may sound easy; however, humans are more interested in their own affairs and will most likely forget.  Also, we are very lazy in nature.

So how about this….

Ask for the “Like” before the client, customer, repair man!? has left your presence.

Many businesses today have IPAds, and if you don’t, you should go out and get one.  They have amazing capabilities and features for small business.

Pull out your IPAD or have it set up professionally and ASK your customer if they are willing to sign into their Facebook page and “Like” your business.  Or simply ask your client to log onto their mobile phone while finishing up the transaction and “Like” your page.

It’s as simple as that.  If you see 30 clients in a day, that’s 30 more likes.

More “likes” means more impact on the social media seen.

If your local, this is crucial as many of your clients will be friends with others in the area.  Now, your business will show up in their feeds, which will begin the chain.

For more incentive, tell your customers if they "Like" your page they will receive a certain % off the sale ( Ex, 2%) or they can receive a coupon, promotion, free gift etc.

Your Awesome.  Good Luck!
